What it is

This treatment is designed to reduce the downward pull that can cause your nose tip to dip when you smile — especially if it feels like it pulls your features down or makes your expression look more tense than you feel.
By relaxing that pull, the tip can sit a bit higher when you animate — creating a more open, lifted impression in profile and helping your smile come across the way you intend.

How it works

Neurotoxin is placed precisely at the base of the nose to target the the small muscle responsible for pulling the tip downward during movement, especially when you smile. The structure of the nose doesn’t change — just the way it moves.

What to expect

  • No special prep needed. Just come with a clean face and avoid blood thinners if possible.

  • Quick and focused — a single injection at the base of the nose. Most clients feel just a small pinch.

  • No downtime. You may notice a change within 3–5 days, with full effect by day 7.

Frequently asked questions

  • Not structurally — but it can reduce the downward pull that makes your tip look lower when you smile. The effect is subtle, but often enough to feel more open and confident in profile.

  • You’ll usually start to notice a shift by day 3–5, with full results in about a week.

This treatment targets something different: the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth downward or create vertical creases below them — like early marionette lines or frown lines between the mouth and chin.

  • Most clients see results for about 6–8 weeks — sometimes a bit less due to high movement in this area.

  • It can help in either case — whether you’ve always had a downward-pulling tip or started noticing it more over time. The muscle we treat is active in both scenarios. We’ll assess whether it’s a good fit for your features.

  • Not at all. A non-surgical nose job uses filler to reshape the nose — often adjusting the bridge, projection, or profile. This treatment doesn’t do that. It simply relaxes the tiny muscle that pulls the tip downward — so the nose rests in a more neutral, lifted position when you smile.

It can sometimes help maintain or extend the visual result of a non-surgical nose job — especially between filler appointments — but it’s not a replacement for structural work.

  • This is a micro-treatment, and managing expectations is part of what makes it work well. It’s not designed to reshape your nose — but it can help your tip rest more neutral or lifted when you animate.

The change is subtle by design — usually most visible in profile, motion, or photos — and contributes to the overall impression of a more open, relaxed expression. It’s not something you’ll typically spot when zoomed in or looking for a single dramatic shift.

We always start conservatively, and if you’d like to build on the effect at your next visit, we’ll talk through what makes sense.

  • In most cases, yes — but we’ll review your full history to make sure it’s the right fit. We’ll never treat an area if there’s a reason to hold off.
