Lower Face Filler Treatment

Downturned corners of the mouth

Marionette Lines

Shadows or folds extending from the corners

Skin laxity or volume in the lower face

Expression that looks sad, tired, or stern when you don’t feel that way

What it is

The peri-oral region — the area around the mouth — is one of the first places where loss of volume, elasticity, and support becomes visible.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are often used here for their softness and flexibility. They blend naturally with movement, making them ideal for smoothing folds, lifting corners, and refining balance without heaviness.

Radiesse is sometimes chosen when deeper support is needed. It not only fills but also stimulates collagen, reinforcing the lower face structure over time.

Both options are placed with precision to restore balance and lift — always with natural movement and expression in mind.

How it works

Using fine needles or a cannula, filler is placed with care around folds, corners, and shadows.

HA fillers attract water and restore volume where it’s diminished, smoothing folds and softening lines while keeping natural flexibility.

Radiesse contains calcium-based microspheres in a gel carrier. It provides instant structure while stimulating your skin to produce more collagen in the months that follow.

The approach is tailored to what’s most relevant for you: subtle softening, stronger support, or a combination of both.

What to expect

  • We’ll assess how lines and corners affect overall balance and determine which filler best suits your needs.

  • A topical numbing cream may be applied. The injections are precise and usually well-tolerated.

  • Mild swelling, redness, or bruising is common and typically fades within a few days. Results are visible right away, with final refinement as swelling subsides and filler integrates

Supporting your results

Treatment in the peri-oral region can stand alone — but often works best when supported or paired with other treatments that enhance balance or longevity.
